I am a software engineer, currently living and working in Phoenix, AZ. I grew up in Denver, CO (and still consider it my true home). I am enthusiastic about cooking, snowboarding, enjoying the outdoors, PEZ, and learning about all the cultures in the world.
The focus of my work is Java (Enterprise), but I am very enthusiastic about mobile development (in particular the Android platform). I spent a good deal of my professional life working for Lockheed Martin, on classified projects (if I told you, I would have to kill you), and installed the train system at Denver International Airport, as my first job out of college. I currently work at Choice Hotels International, which is a great place to work.
I love to cook. I don’t follow recipes (much), but get most of my inspiration from “America’s Test Kitchen”.
I love to eat, and enjoy trying new places. I have been fortunate to eat at some of the best restaurants in the world, but can find just as much enjoyment (often much more) at a hole in the wall ethnic place.
I am married, with one child. This is by far the most important aspect of my life (although not something I post much about on this site).
